Trains arrive at stations a couple of minutes before the indicated departure time. Make sure you are at the platform on time in order not to miss your train.

All trains arriving and departing from a particular station are published on notice boards in the station. Departure schedules are yellow and arrival schedules are white. <

These are familiar to anyone who has ever stood in a major railway station - boards displaying scheduled arrivals and departures and, sometimes, notification of delays or platform changes. This service is also available on the internet. Just click on the timetables banner and then go to arrivals/departures, where you will find boards showing scheduled arrivals and departure times at all available railway stations and stops as well as up-to-the-minute traffic news on many of the services operated by the Deutsche Bahn.
