| Gruppe&Spar 60 | 60% discount | Buy tickets at least 7 days in advance |
| Gruppe&Spar 70 | 70% discount | Buy tickets at least 14 days in advance |
- Just six people travelling together are already considered a group
- Group tickets are fully flexible on all local and regional trains
- On long-distance trains, seats are guaranteed at 21 EUR for compulsory seat reservations (ticket is valid on a designated train)
- Group bookings for travel within Germany can be made up to six months in advance
- Bookings can be held on payment of a 10% deposit
- Changes to, or refunds of, tickets are possible for a fee of 15 EUR up to:
3 days before departure for Gruppe&Spar 50 tickets
7 days before departure for Gruppe&Spar 60 tickets
14 days beforehand for Gruppe&Spar 70 tickets - Gruppe&Spar offers are also available for journeys from Germany to countries such as Austria, Switzerland, Poland, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Ukraine and many more

More offers for groups
Besides the Gruppe&Spar fares, the Deutsche Bahn UK Booking Centre has many other offers for groups travelling on Eurostar, the night train, Thalys, Warsaw Express as well as many trains outside Germany. For most of these trains groups have to consist of at least 10 people travelling together and bookings can be made up to 3 months in advance.
