American Airlines passengers can book domestic ICE/IC connections from 17 German cities to Frankfurt under an AA flight number.

Deutsche Bahn will take you conveniently and comfortably to Frankfurt Airport where you can reach Terminal 1 in only a few minutes from the long-distance railway station. The American Airlines check-in counter and the lounge are located in Terminal 1.

The offer is valid for journeys from the cities of Bonn, Cologne, Dresden, Düsseldorf, Essen, Freiburg, Göttingen, Hamburg, Hannover, Karlsruhe, Kassel, Leipzig, Mannheim, Munich, Nuremberg, Stuttgart and Würzburg.

If you are a member in the American Airlines 'AAdvantage' frequent-flyer programme and you use the Deutsche Bahn Codeshare service under an AA* flight number to Frankfurt Airport, 250 miles will be credited automatically to your frequent-flyer account for each trip.

American Airlines offers you special fares to various destinations in the USA and the flight fare includes the railway connection to Frankfurt Airport without any surcharge. That means that you will have no additional costs for travelling to the Airport with Deutsche Bahn.

The Japanese airline ANA has offered Rail&Fly free of charge as a feeder to Frankfurt Airport up to now.

Deutsche Bahn and ANA have further extended their cooperation with a Codeshare agreement. This means that ANA passengers from/to Düsseldorf, Cologne and Stuttgart can combine their Deutsche Bahn feeder even more conveniently with the daily flight to Tokyo. This Codesharing makes booking and travelling from the selected departure station to the arrival airport in Frankfurt more straightforward.

For airline passengers, the Agreement with Deutsche Bahn means an extension of the worldwide ANA flight offer: On board the Boeing 747-400 every passenger experiences the special Japanese attention of the land of the rising sun. It is now even easier to reach this special service in style with the trains of Deutsche Bahn.

If you are a member of the AMC - ANA "Mileage Club" frequent-flyer programme, 200 miles per trip will be credited to your mileage account.
