How to get information

Travel Center

Advice over the Counter

Travel centers at major stations, ticket offices at other stations and authorized Deutsche Bahn travel agents in Germany are all able to sell DB tickets and offer advice. They have information on the latest special offers and other services designed to make rail travel as comfortable and convenient as possible and can of course advise you on timetable information.

Ticket and information counters at major stations are usually open from 6.00 a.m. to 10.00 p.m. every day, and travel agents are open during normal business hours.

Travel Information over the Telephone

Over the telephone you can receive information on Deutsche Bahn's train timetable, e.g., information on special offers and other services, order your ticket and book seats until late in the evening every day of the week. Your travel documents will be left at the travel center or ticket office of major stations for you to collect. From outside Germany please dial (+49)1805 996633 (14 ct./minute). From within Germany please call 0180 5 99 66 33 (phone charges apply).

Electronic Timetable Information (Germany and Europe)

The Deutsche Bahn timetable is available on CD-ROM for PCs using MS Dos and Windows operating systems. If you enter your departure and destination station, date of travel and time of departure, the program will select suitable connections. You can also choose between four languages (German, Italian, French and English).
